INDIGO Network
(2016-2018) was a series of research activities within the overall co-ordinating framework of INDIGO, aiming to target various dimensions of reducing stigma and discrimination.
As this work is no longer ongoing we cannot accept new collaborators to these activities, but we invite you to use our scales and methods to develop stigma reducing programmes so we can all end stigma and discrimination in mental health together.
The links below provide further information regarding this work, with links to final outputs where relevant.
- Project 1. INDIGO-DISCUS: Developing a short version of the Discrimination and Stigma Scale
- Project 2. INDIGO-LOCAL: Improving referral rates to local health care services for people with mental illness using a local public knowledge and awareness campaign
- Project 3. INDIGO-PRIMARY: Improving knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of primary care staff towards people with mental illness in primary care settings
- Project 4. INDIGO-READ: Improving knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of medical students towards people with mental illness
INDIGO Network was coordinated by Dr Mirja Koschorke, Maria Milenova, Dr Nicole Votruba and Prof Sir Graham Thornicroft at the Centre for Global Mental Health, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London.
